Dance Residency through Boston Center for the Arts
November/December 2011
Caitlin Corbett Dance Company has been awarded a Dance Residency through Boston Center for the Arts for November/December 2011. During this residency, Caitlin will work with dancers to experiment with new ways of generating movement, a fundamental shift from Corbett's long-standing research with original movement. Additionally, she will rework an existing piece, Duets (2009), a series of one-minute duets performed by a dynamic assortment of unlikely couplings, most of whom are non-dancers. This work will be presented December 16 and 17 at Boston Center for the Arts, 539 Tremont Street, Boston, MA.

Helsinki, Finland
As part of her ongoing relationship with Theatre Academy of Finland, Corbett travelled to Helsinki in April 2011 to teach her choreography to students there. They performed Little Known Facts (2006) and Chair Dance (2007).
